We Can Be Heroes
We Can Be Heroes tells the story of Detroit boxer, Taylor "Machine Gun" Duerr, as he trains for the fight of his life in the ring, while fighting the demons of his heroin addiction for his life, outside the ring.
Coached by Martin "Trouble Man" Thomas, a prodigy of the famous KRONK gym, the film gives the viewer an unflinching look at the life of a boxer who has not yet "made it" and of an addict who has not yet "kicked it".
